Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Green

She was older than I,
almost four years;
that time added to the mystique.
Poodle skirts, poplin shirts
bobby socks, shocking flirts
and the songs she sang...
weird !
(so to speak)

Oh so sad,
drove me mad,
in his day,
Johnny Ray,
Shakin' Stevens
at midnight, not sleepin'
He sang of a door
green it was,
he...heartsore,
nosy too...
as the mornin' comes creepin'.

Older sisters know the score,
mine slipped through the opened door
and that green door
its secret is keepin'.
