INSIDE I AM THE SAME MAN
Inside I am the same man I was many years ago.
Now I am old on the outside and my age shows.
Sometimes I feel like I am as young as twenty six.
I feel like going to a young singles dance and mix.
Doing things with young folks helps me feel youthful.
Every old person wants to feel young if they`re truthful.
If I could recapture my youth once more,
A different man I would be, better than I was before.
My life`s been good, but not as good as it could be.
Times change for better or worse, and we must adjust.
Heaven is a beautiful place for all of us who trust.
Everything will be perfect, and every soul will be young.
Special is our God who made us to be forever young.
Almighty God, Creator, He will make all things new.
Moreover, we won`t need sun and moon light.
Eternal day, God`s glory shines bright, there is no night.
My soul rejoices in knowing this youthful life is eternal.
A glorious life of love, joy and peace and without pain,
Nothing is worth losing this eternal life we have to gain.
