Such Is The Glory

Such Is The Glory

The cacophony of summer morn
Led by the Master's baton
Is a concerto of waking dawn
Spilling onto Earth, into sky.

Shadows slip into new horizons
Filled with new dreams, new faith...
Gathering every hopeless wraith
And inviting each to sing.

But, oh how I long for the silence
That lingers at twilight's shore...
May I recapture the stillness once more
Before Sun rises to glory.

The conductor and I greet the morn
I, with sleepy eyes... He, with songs of sky.
He, with promises and vivid horizons,
I, with a quieter song to sing,
He, with a concerto's dream, I, with dreams of silence...
Such is the beauty, such is the glory.
