Writing In My Diary

Your special canvas of words were so delicate,
they seemed to be ebbing through my mind,
with two hundred colors of light.

Each sweet word uplifts my spirit on a,
cool autumn night as I eat cookies on
the front porch looking at stars so bright.

Our heartfelt friendship was beautiful,
showing love and grace with each word
caressing the heartbreak I write in my diary
about the harvest of our love tonight.
