In The Event...

WHEN that Eureka moment disrupts the calm
WE remember times when we were clever too.
ARE we prepared for when we buy the farm,
PLANNING little things, like what to leave to who?
FOR goodness sake! It's not as if it matters!
POSTERITY still happens if or not
WE leave some sensitivities in tatters,
SHOULD that wicked sister think she's got the lot!
REMEMBER this, no matter what you do,
THAT little green-eyed monster will abide.
VIRTUE departs friend, when you bid adieu.
IS there a place for dignity? You decide!
NOT a chance my lot will spoil my finest hour...
HEREDITARY to me means strong 'Will' power.

QUOTE: Thomas Paine

Phrase...When that Eureka moment disrupts the calm
