'MORNING COFFEE

'MORNING COFFEE

'Well, ' Hello Mr. Dove,Your looking mighty swell!'
And how bout you Woodpecker,'I really love your tail!'
Oh, There's Mr. and Mrs. Blue JayCome for their breakfast too.
'Now move over and make roomFor those little sparrows will you?
'I love to sit and gaze out my window
With the warm morning sun
Drinking my coffee andJust passing the time
.'Oh, don't move! Be still!
Do you see him?'There he is, Mr. Squirrel
Come to steal some corn.
Filling up his cheeks, storing winter's feed.
He looks so cute the way he
Holds each kernel of corn between
His hands nibbling away at it!'
Now don't move will you?
Or you'll scare him away.'
Yes, I love my morning coffee.
It's my favorite time of day,When nature awakes with me
And comes out to play!
