Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Pastel Rainbows

I do not have to chase memories of you, my love
For they drift in and out of my heart

As hues and shades of pastel rainbows color my world
Taking me to places unseen by others… memorized by me

For your sweet spirit lingers in my eyes
Remembering the ways you decorated the wallpaper of my heart

And tho sometimes a tear still falls in the twilight hours
It is now like a flower losing its petals once more

Knowing another will grow to dance with the clouds one more day
For God is not done with my life

Written for the 5 and dime challenge
