Get Rid Of The Advertisements

PASSIVE

All is quiet, The wind has slowed
As my mind begins to wander
The slightly chilling air turns to cold.
So calm, so peaceful,
From the rush of the day.
I can hear in the distance
The trains clattering away.
The blue sky has turned to grey,
There will be rain tomorrow
I hear someone say.
My Golden Retriever
Lies passive on the lawn
Listening to the birds evensong.
The colours of the flowers
Bring a sparkle to the eye,
As I now retire indoors to sleep
I lock the doors and wish,
That everyday could always be
As passive as this.
