Day Dreams

WITH one's imagination comes a gift,
THE tendency to close off and just dream.
NEW ideas cause one's spirits p'rhaps to drift,
DAY dreaming fits my relaxation scheme.
COMES duty with reminders I've been lax,
NEW worries when I wanted none at all.
STRENGTH comes when wayward thoughts seep through life's cracks
AND I can still, if I but try, ignore them all.
NEW strategies for 'closing off', I treasure;
THOUGHTS often stray...I rein them in at leisure.

QUOTE...Eleanor Roosevelt
