Recover Your Soul KKD CHALLENGE

Recover Your Soul

Why you insist
to walk from the light to dark
You know what you do
even before you embark

Yet you stand
in total wonderment
Why nothing changes
and you remain in self torment

You insist to walk
the same failed path
Not understanding why
it is met with self wrath

Why do you allow
their uses
To become
your abuses

Why you feel
your only worth is thru others
Until you help you
you can be of no value to your brothers

You have wings you refuse to use
keeping them close by your side
All I ask is you set them free
and lighten your life's stride

As friend to be of any help
I am at a total loss
As one who has walked your path
I could have helped carry your cross

Repeated known mistakes
giving what you have not
Once you are used
what have you got

Your path I've walked
and swore to never return
My soul at peace
never again to burn

I stood too close
almost getting sucked in
The hell and torment
my life, it won't win

I've stepped from your path
where you insist to stay
I pray to our Father above
your price not be too great to pay

You are my friend
Your happiness my goal
Step out of your hell
Recover Your Soul

~~Lyric~~
'Spare your heart
save your soul
Dont drag your love (ie: life)
across the coal
Defy defeat
and your fortune can be told
Release... Relax... Let Go
Hey now let's (you) recover your soul'

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
