Get Rid Of The Advertisements

For the love of His people

He waits, patiently, for his customers to arrive.
Waiting to sell his hot and fresh merchandise.
They come for the dog, but stay for the smile,
Because he talks of Jesus, his story is worthwhile.
Day after day, he works in the heat,
Cooking and serving with no real relief.
Spreading the love of Jesus to those he meets.
Under the umbrella which provides some shade,
He has his days where no money is made.
But he loves what he does, and does what he loves,
And thanks God who provides from heaven above.
The smell of the meat cooking draws them in,
But the smile and the story, makes him many friends.
The sandwiches and dogs he sells keeps him at a steady pace,
But the story he shares, will win him heaven’s race.
