Get Rid Of The Advertisements

In the Middle

in the middle

in the middle
of every day
i think of you
i turn a key
inside a door and hear
the cognizant sound of your hello
the days accumulate
like snow gently falling
into inches
shadows dance
from vertical blinds
i lock the door
turn off the lights
and there you are
in the middle
of every night
