Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A Dolly For Daddy
All mommy does is sit and cry, since daddy left home that day,
if I hadn't let my Dolly be mean, he wouldn't have gone away.
After mommy goes to sleep I will make sure Dolly is gone,
santa will bring daddy back and mommy won't be alone.

I have to find a really nice place for her to go and live,
after all, she is a baby with lots of love to give.
Dolly gets scared real easy, since her arm was torn and sewn,
darkness really frightens her, so she needs a light left on.

Santa will know a special girl that will treat my Dolly nice,
be patient when she's mean, and give her good advice.
I have to get back before morning comes, so that I can see
mommy smile when santa leaves my daddy by our tree.

**Written last Christmas for a challenge on my old site.
The challenge was to write a wish from santa from a
childs' perspective.
