Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I Was Leaving My Starlite Home.
These boots are made for walking
My voice is made for talking
My pen is my voice you see
As I write the words that come to me
I started posting here back in ninety nine
Now a couple don't want me to write anymore lines
I know I'm not smart I misspell a word or a few
I get mixed up and write thought instead of through
Well sorry I don't have much education you see
I'm not perfect and try not to be
The challenges I write for fun don't matter if I win
I write pain at times I hide within
To help others and helps me to
If you don't like my poetry that's up to you
I was packing my bags
Was going to leave my home at the starlite cafe
Then I prayed and kept thinking
Like a light inside my head started blinking
I don't have to leave as I did once before
I can stay within the starlite doors
If you don't like what I write don't read don't comment that's ok
I prayed and talked to God I also have the right to stay
So yes my boots are made for walking
My voice is made for talking
So as I dip my pen in my ink at starlite
And write what I feel to write
Maybe you should walk away that's up to you
It's not going to be me and I pray and hope you stay to.
