A Starlite Christmas

Photobucket

Tis Christmas time at Starlite
See the poets gather round
Hooping and a hollering.. Santa Clause
Came back to town

Christmas Wreath Pictures, Images and Photos

The noise woke up Miss Deeny
Who was napping by the tree
First she saw X Rifles
Just as jolly as could be

Next to arrive was Cherry
From across the pond you know
The most delightful lady
That you'll ever gonna know

Christmas Wreath Pictures, Images and Photos

Then came some other poets
Bringing scrumptious food
For the feast that we'd be throwing
While in this Christmas mood

Old Sliver wolf was helping out
As any good friend would
She journeyed here from Canada
Just because she could

Miss Myrna brought piles of turkey
Fried in that Cajun style
With Creole spicy dressing
Twas designed to drive men wild

Hibiscus brought creamed taters
Whipped in real cream... in the pot
And Aspiring... brought asparagus
Creamy cheese sauce on each stalk

Brandy made cranberry sauce
Bubbly hot .. red as could be
While dear Old Marvin brought himself
Said 'my contribution's me!'

Little me had peas and carrots
Libra brought us love
Tomfollery brought some mistletoe
Kissing vine to hang above

Photobucket

Lady Jewel prepared candied yams
Marshmallow topped.. browned right
And Norma she brought pecan pie
We'll all gain weight tonight

Photobucket

Abbasewe came with lobster
Still live... but packed in ice
And Lydia had pink Champagne
In honor of the night

Photobucket

Always my words .. French whiskey
Dear Old Poison some buttered rum
And right behind trailed dear Pam Schwetz
Saying please, please give me some

Photobucket

And old Whispermoon was busy
Hanging holly everywhere
As Tracy Bond rang silver bells
With sweet melodic care

Photobucket

Dear old Bubby he strummed Silent Night
In honor of our king
After dinner he would play for us
The songs we love to sing

Photobucket

Above our heads.. a star looked down
With Momma Sonshines glow
A most beloved poet
As Frog and Teddy know

Photobucket

See Morning Song... she brought that moose
That had gathered so much fame
Back in the days of Albert
Ere all the changes came

Photobucket

Such happiness it flowed that night
Starlite ... chock full of love
You can bet Albert and Renee smiled
From that Cafe up above

The whole event was wonderful
To each Sire and Madam
But the hit that stole the whole damn night
Was Old Devin.. He's a Ham!
