Painted Smiles

Painted Smiles

I see two women of valor painted smiles upon their face
Both; full of wisdom elegance and grace
Each one is quit unique in everything they do,
Yet, neither are not the same; Painted smiles
Deceive,
The eyes of even me and you

One is filled with malice, and anger, her words she seeks to avenge
Nothing will stand in her way, of bitter sweet revenge
The other, holds onto hope, forgiveness, a lesson taught by God
Reaching out with hands of kindness, she bears no false facade

Again she feels the sting, of fangs sunk deep within her hand
While others are afraid, together, with the ruthless one, they band
What power does she have, what secrets does she hold
Her words lose their shine, as her true personality, beings to unfold

To One whose hand was bitten, these wounds, with time will heal
Stay true to you, a heart, warm and caring, alive, and able to feel
Worry not precious one, for those who you, they chose to forsake
For in the end, on Judgment Day, a snake, is still a snake

In the end, if these words offend anyone
Then a closer look at ones inner self
May be needed
Words of Truth,
are sometimes hard to except
