Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Sweet Sonnet

All humans will succumb, often, to pleasure;
you are not on your own in that regard.
Need for comfort, brief relief from pressure
is cause enough - and to resist is hard.
Love brings its joyous highs, then leaves us flat;
but comfort foods offer some consolation.
A tad too much of comfort makes one fat;
little bellies can suffer inflation.
Chocolate is my weakness...it's well known,
now it's become my downfall...serves me right!
And offer Rum and Raisin (hear me groan),
then whisper 'It is calorie free tonight'.
Doesn't quite compute; but I accept, OK?
Hurt someone, did I? Well, she got in my way!
