Cleanse Me

Yesterday my life was sorrow.
God sent Jesus, I am free.
He has taken all the bad stuff,
paid the price on Calvary,
paid the price on Calvary.

Wash me, waters of redemption,
cleanse me of the deepest stain.
Bathe me head to toe and inside,
then start over once again.

'Go and sin no more!' said Jesus.
I am trying and He knows.
Sometimes though I slip, He holds me,
all forgiving...so it goes,
all forgiving, so it goes.

Wash me, waters of redemption,
cleanse me of the deepest stain.
Bathe me head to toe and inside,
then start over once again.

Soon we'll go and be with Jesus,
sit before the mercy seat,
spend eternity in worship,
maybe I can wash His feet,
maybe I can wash His feet.

Wash me, waters of redemption,
cleanse me of the deepest stain.
Bathe me head to toe and inside,
then start over once again.
