Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Bold as Brass

A most amazing, fresh experience,
sudden,as a mighty gust of wind,
bold as brass, so bold it was pure silliness
and slowly, like a Cheshire cat, he grinned.
Unexpected, causing some discomfort,
question posed...will answers fast be found?
Doth he protest too much and doth the cap fit?
Many replies designed just to astound.
Times have long since past to get all sappy;
surprise indeed, the element required.
A simple bloke is easily made happy;
man knows his limits (mine have long expired).
And when stuffiness makes him soporific,
lay prejudice, quite unabashed, aside.
Him, he's the one we all thought so terrific...
Open your eyes, Mate! There's no place left to hide!
