With gentle tenacity
and a thread unbroken
He holds me altogether
Although thought I...
'' I am without a prayer!''
... then kept within
my faithlessness unspoken
A facade, so none would know
the depth and drove
of my unruled emotions
With knots and tangles dangling
caused by my loss ...
... quotidian devotions
Nonetheless ... I am secured
He holds the end
again I have awoken
to find His grip is taut
and of a greater length
through one symbolic scarlet token ...
