THIS IS HEAVEN, DON'T YOU KNOW!

When the sun smiles on the Rockies
And each fragrant lilly blooms,
There is unspoiled goodness at my door
For spring will be here soon.

All God's wild and beautiful creatures
Have a home to rest their head.
There's a stillness which surrounds me
Like a prayer that's being said.

Mother elk begin their birthing
'Neath the aspen by the lake,
And their spotted fawn are nursing
In the times they are awake.

Snow is melting from the mountains
Making fast her path of show
When the sun smiles on the Rockies...
This heaven, don't you know!
