We Were That Way

Rapture in this moment, as poured from skies above.
Tender is it's meaning, be it passion be it love.
To hold and kiss and touch you, let you flow into my soul.
Of boundless dreams, the way we were, their findings we extol.

Settling on my chest, as the sun warms and caressingly touches.
Whispering in my ear, as the wind song at my heart clutches.
Lying upon my body, as soft silky summers' rain.
Spoken words long velvet strokes, cause lightning in my brain.

We have met upon this earth, in this moment that's for sure.
Now to build and forge go forward, and together we'll endure.
To scale up on this mountain, strive ever reach it's peak.
To care and hold and love you dear, is what in life I seek.
