The Way

Only the wayfarer sure of his path,
he with no doubt of his life's destination,
who stands redeemed and in awe of God's wrath,
keeps no grudge tally, makes no accusation;
his nature includes acceptance of others.
Eye of the needle? His camel passeth through!
Fixed though his gaze, he still can help his brothers
on the bridge of uncertainty, struggling too.
The fellow traveller, rescued from danger,
far distant shores his pathway leads him to.
Horizon looms...another troubled stranger
will ask his help, trusting he'll know what to do.
Find every treasure God intends for you,
the game of life rewards are genuine.
Right path or left? He'll pray for judgment true.
Road markings are vague but he can read the sign.
