Get Rid Of The Advertisements

since a year ago in june

my fingers still tap
distractedly against my keyboard
and my vision goes white
thinking of new things to say
about old stuff.

I still like seeing traces of your name
in familiar places,
the pause of your words on the edge
of the end of a song.

I'm still just where I was,
but with maybe a few new aspirations.
