Miracles Do Happen

In the heartland of our country
A small miracle has occured
In the midst of a tornado
A woman she gave birth

In Moore , Okla with destruction all around
The strongest of tornados toppled
A small hospital to the ground.
Inside three hundred patients
Escaped the storm untouched
As with power like atomic bomb
The very walls were crushed

Inside an upstairs birthing suite
A young woman in pain lay
Her coming child was much to close
To move her from harms way
Three nurses knelt around her
Used their bodies as a shield
And thirty minutes later
A small son laid revealed

Meanwhile across the highway
Bout five hundred feet away
God told a little child come home
And the storm blew him away
If mom could have made the journey
To the hospital God blessed
Her little boy would live to tell the tale
With three hundred more or less

Yes the strongest winds recorded
Hit that little town one day
When capricious mother nature
Got excited as she played
One more time the power of the unknown
Was revealed in God's own way
Just another reason I believe
I will keep praising him forever and a day

My phrase I will forever and a day

This is a true story
