Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Tongue In Cheek

The human soul is never satisfied,
most holding fast until the bitter end,
certain of nothing, trusting none beside,
way too stubborn, as if our lives depend.
To compromise enters not the equation,
succeed at all costs ever drives us on.
Is there a chance? What cause for celebration!
(Always the last ditch until the breaking dawn).
To leave it in the hands of God? Why bother?
Try on your own...are you not strong enough?
Just one moment more (and then another),
one always can blame God when things get tough!
More time is not an option we are given;
time non-negotiable, p'rhaps I'll be...forgiven.
