It was an enchanted evening,
we strolled along the beach.
The moon shone brightly silver
as we promised thus to each.

I will cherish you a life-time,
you will love me for an age;
we both are looking forward
to opening our next page.

Waves flung themselves, abandoned
on rocks lining the shore;
celebrating wordlessly
our love forever more,

No children we, but aged a bit,
maturity is fine.
I'll stick with you through thick and thin,
oh tender love of mine.
