In The Quiet Time

In joyous hope and splendour of redemption,
the choice is made, thus understanding grows,
serenity, along with comprehension
and with assurance, in saved lives it grows.
Quiet time, devoted meditation
of God's own Word, beloved by His flock.
This sad truth still, that without provocation,
lovely though it be, cynics still mock.
Place charitable deeds where none may see them,
touch not an open wound...illuminate!
The somber truth: man ever will condemn,
depths of confusion often turn to hate.
Of this we know, Christ's death hath rent the veil,
truth will be shown and, finally prevail.

Quote:
(Reading down the left side) ,
from Adlai E Stevenson.
