Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Ship of Friends

With a match stick mast and, of course, some billowing sails of silken rose petals,
our friendship embarked.

No fragile craft was this
but one built on trust, using the glue of childhood memories,
with strength of character so that it may never flounder
in the rough waters of life.

Decks may have been awash with tears from time to time
but they were never tears of recrimination
and no storm has ever been sufficient
to un-mast her.
