Get Rid Of The Advertisements

PEACE AND WAR

And I beheld the poplars
diminished by the winds
shedding leaves, shedding leaves,
not copious , but enough
to muse of farewells,
greeneries and strands,
of wavy warmer seas,
inhabited rough peaks,
road crossed valleys huge wide
by the vacationers
erratically explored,
those who hate to confine
to their routine aback,
who cherish even more
the blue streams left behind,
up the blistering sun
as somehow near looms
the duty unfulfilled home
for a short time undone.
Autumn is coming, thought
with it the winds of War!
