Morning glories
Morning glories, morning glories
in their splendor, cling to the vine
colors giddy in the sunshine
wildly playing, shining so bright
bold the colors in morning light
clinging fast to the garden wall
climbing the vines, standing so tall
glistening in the cool morning dew
so many colors, not just a few
unbridled beauty, so brightly flare
glory shines with their brilliance rare
gently swaying in morning breeze
even climbing sometimes the trees
morning glories, some running wild
acting just like a little child
radiant beauty, bask in the sun
slowly fading, from heat undone
tomorrow brings their show once more
as once again, their flowers soar
enchantingly colors displayed
then comes the time, final array
morning glories, morning glories
their beauty tells their wondrous story
all nature sings, their parting song
a song of love from God atones
