Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Charlie Brown and Jesus

Charlie Brown to Lucy one day
What's Christmas really all about
Toys, gifts, food, and playing all day
Oh, family getting real loud
Snow, sleds, hills so we can slide
Snow ball fights are really great
Build a snow hut, staying outside
Having such fun, I cannot wait
Charlie jumped up and down inside
What about Jesus, does he belong
He loved us so, and then he died
Without him we are noisy gongs
I love all that other stuff a lot
How can we honor him that way
It is not about what we got
For he is with us every day
Many do not know what it cost
Do you believe,, what do you say
And he cried for those who were lost
We get down on our knees to pray
And think about how much it cost
He died yes, so, that we could play
When we grow up, we need to show
His love that others find him, too
Even if we trudge through deepest snow
For he loves me as he loves you
