Get Rid Of The Advertisements

The Gift

A favorite time to make things rhyme
Hot apple cider, I'm so inclined
The fireside bright, a Holy night
Stockings hung by fireplace light
Gene singing Rudolph for the young
Also his Here comes Santa sung
Bing smoothing his so White Christmas
The children's wishes for Christmas
Early to bed, early to rise
To find out if there's a surprise
The sweetest gift, a holy child
Sing peace on earth, and mercy mild
A time of love, a time of light
Upon this holiest of nights
The children dream of wondrous gifts
And we pray God our spirits lift
The holy child, the promised one
From God on high, for us did come
For his return, my soul doth burn
MY God above, for thee I yearn
Lord, keep the children safe always
Bless all my friends upon this day
