Get Rid Of The Advertisements

My favorite Cruise

Taking a cruise in my old car which I no longer own
My 59 Chevrolet Impala , bad to the bone
My youthful wife, her head gently resting on my shoulder
So gently we glide, slowly my speed is getting bolder
We park at the local submarine base lovingly kiss
Oh, but those good olden days I most certainly do miss
Her hand resting in mine, an embrace oh so consuming
Just to think about it bringing such sweet remembering
We together glide to the local drive thru for to eat
My wife she can not move, she is stuck, glued to the seat
Ah the pranksters do their thing yes even way, way back then
Memories, oh such sweet sweet, memories take me to when
The stars in the cool night sky, they so brilliantly shine
And then as I awake my cell phone so loudly whines
Meals on wheels needing my olden frame to help once again
I will go out to love all of those in sorrowing strain
If God gives me one more day, Gladly will do it once more
My cruising now for my dear Lord, serving for my dear Lord
