The Good Woman

She who waits upon the Lord with patience,
opens her mind, her heart, her soul to Him,
Her life is filled with wondrous observations,
mouth speaks but truth, lets not her lamp grow dim.
With gentleness of spirit, she is blessed.
Wisdom granted her, she shares with others.
The gift of love in youth she doth invest,
teaching those who lack it...sisters, brothers.
Of such a precious nature she's possessed,
kindness is her raiment, her adorning.
Is it true in tattered rags she's dressed,
on any day she's outshine fresh new morning.
Her goodness paragon to troubled youth,
tongue now tamed, no thought to speak uncouth.
