Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Starlite Starbrite

In a normal, structured family,
each member gives support,
knowing the same will be there for him,
even before it is sought.

Starlite has been my family now
for thirteen incredible years,
a roller-coaster in my lifetime
where I've dried a million tears.

People enter my circle,
where words leave hearts exposed.
We inter-act, confide, comfort;
but are never deemed sticky-nosed.

Creative spirits fostered,
skills are taught and learned.
Occasionally toes are trod
and sometimes bridges burned.

I'm better for the experience,
though divided by lines of latitude,
closer to some than blood family,
from my heart to yours...with gratitude.
