Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Give and Take
The men fast walk in and out of supermarkets,
clutching the last of the wilting flowers,
lilies with broken petals and a few crushed carnations.
I like peonies and sweet pea and ranunculus,
but more than anything I just like words and looks.
We've never ended a Valentine's Day
without a fight.
You grabbed my hands and said, just give me time,
give me a chance.'
That's all I ever give, and what you never take.
