Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I Don't Love You Because

I don’t love you because
You buy me things—
I love you because
You give me your time;

I don’t love you because
Your life is so interesting—
I love you because
You’re more interested in mine;

I don’t love you because
You are so popular—
I love you because
You choose to be with me;

I don’t love you because
You tell me I’m beautiful—
I love you because
It’s the inside of me that you see;

I don’t love you because
You are everything to me—
I love you because
I am everything to you, too;

I don’t love you because
What you say sounds so good—
I love you because
What you tell me is true;

I don’t love you because
You love me—
I love you because
There is no other way to feel;

I don’t love you because
Love does to me what it does—
I love you because
Like I said
There is no other way to feel.
