My Daughter, My Blessing

A generous spirit gives of self unthinking,
kind to the core, not counting the cost.
Heart of a lion in lamb's garb, unblinking,
is ne'er suggestion of temper been lost.
A demeanour portraying sunny, sweet nature,
fountain of goodness, source of truth divine.
Of whom do I write, what fine nomenclature?
Gladness personified, sweet daughter of mine.
Making me sinful as heart fills with pride,
everything taught you, now surely enhanced.
Around ...saints in training you take in your stride,
smile,bringing hope to the sad-circumstanced.

Quote: Washington Irving

Branwen has devoted her life not just to her husband, Bobby
and their four precious children, but between them they minister
to homeless and addicted people on the streets of Brisbane.
My girl holds it all together with strength which could only come
from the Lord Himself.
