Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I feel upon my shoulders
Loads of guilty sentiments.
From one sunrise to the next,
The guilt retains a prevalence.

I am guilty of the right
To speak my mind as I see fit.
If I feel that I have done wrong,
To my wrongs, I can guiltily admit.

I am also guiltily in love.
Each day, I say, ‘thank you, Lord.’
But, if love brings guilt, it’s tempting
For me to go overboard.

If guilt at being happy
And content with life as it is now
Loads more upon my shoulders,
Then, this I will guiltily allow.

If another speaks to me
Of having more than I might need,
I would exercise no argument.
I am daily guilty, yes, indeed.
