Days of Thunder

Days of Thunder

Listen to the winds, hear upon them the distant thunder
Feel mother earth, shake and rumble beneath your feet
Pounding of hooves, great herds gather in wonder
Sacred drums resonate within each hooves beat
Once sacrificedŽ for meat to survive
Great numbers to soon diminish
when white men arrived
Memories now.. The
Days of
Thunder
