Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Concrete Convictions
Breeding concrete convictions in this grave of consciousness,
Here now and past, these images still held in my subconscious,
Caresses the palms of unknown infinities unblemished and pure,
Of the light radiating through the dark that here I still must endure.

Fingers that will never lace with mine again, I still feel and see,
Wandering idly now the possibilities of what could never be,
Unattainable in the distance this ever elusive light in the shadows,
The cycles on repeat and rewind in slow motion that foreshadow.

Stealing breath and balance careening into the whispered spaces,
Left at the doorsteps of my dreams of days gone by of past places,
This semblance in the nightly calm, here retraced in frantic efforts,
Of a past life where Love owned two hearts that here I still treasure.
