Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Grandma, Wait For Me

Please Grandma,
Wait for me
As I learn to walk
And then to run.
Oh! The adventures
We will have!
Picking flowers,
Skipping stones
And dancing in the rain...
Walking together,
Hand in hand
Along the beaches by the shore,
Building castles in the sand,
Collecting seashells
And dreaming about
What I might grow up to be.
I listen to your stories
Of long ago
And I can see
You have so much to share.
So please grandma,
Wait for me
To bloom and grow...
I can't wait
To learn from you.
