Summer Rhythm

I heard the Summer Robin
sing from the meadow bright
the whisper of the summer wind
caressed the moonlit night

I saw the evening moonbeams
fall soft across the stream
pretending to be dancing
within a summer dream

The distant colored hilltop
was dressed up to the nines
the curvy stony ridges
displayed it`s hanging vine

A musical summer rhythm
perfection waves it`s wand
an orchestrated symphony
Mother Nature marking time
