Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A Lonely Poet

A lonely lady waits for his
words,
as a single tear falls from her
eye.
A lonely poet sits all alone,
sharing his words for the
worlds reply.
A love is dying between the
two,
as emptiness starts to fill
their hearts.
A smile now gone from her
tender lips,
as her burning desire is torn
apart.
She thinks her beauty has
left his eye,
as her soul cries out; in only
whispers.
She curls in the corner
feeling ugly,
staring and praying that he
still loves her.
She spends her nights
watching t.v.
as the sad movie makes her
cry.
She yearns for him to come
to her,
but she's afraid he's gonna
say good-bye.
He continues typing out his
words,
of romance and love in his
poetry.
He yearns for nights of
holding her,
And making love; to his
lovely lady.
But he doesn't know how she
feels,
so they continue on feeling
empty.
He thinks she's lost her love
for him,
as he just goes on; typing his
poetry.
