Heaven Sent

I don't have to think about this
As I know what I'd like to say
You put me down and shamed me
As you put yourself quite on display

You ridiculed and made fun of me
Even though I was the oldest child
Daddy saw only cuteness in you
While Momma saw the wild

I am what I am sister dear
With myself being quite content
Because as I see it now in my life
I was heaven sent
