Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Lifes journey

When I was young and just eighteen
I joined the Air Force, still a teen
Those four short years they passed away
I came back home and I did stay
I found my love, for my lifetime
Fifty one years, and so sublime
Jobs hard to find, but I was young
Then one day found, the only one
Till I retired, Delta Air Lines
Enjoyed it so, still felt so fine
To mountain home, Carolina
A Shangrilla, nothing finer
Time passes fast, now still I seek
To praise my God, for I am weak
The world has changed, no honor found
But as for me, I'm heaven bound
When Jesus comes, he is my rhyme
As for me It's been a long time
