Get Rid Of The Advertisements

She's Just Not Herself Anymore

In the morning sun
My mind was waking
As I realized I was at war
In the morning sun
My heart was breaking
As my tears fell tumbling to
the floor
I know she never meant to
hurt me
When she turned and walked
out that door
She said her soul's what she
had to find
She's just not herself
anymore
He's a fool, the whole town
was saying
As I saw the pity in their
eyes
I just wish they could
understand
That inside I'm just a man
But no matter what they say
about her
Even though she's packed
and walked away
Inside I still love her
She's just not herself
anymore
I know she never meant to
hurt me
She's just not herself
anymore
In the morning sun
I saw tear filled faces
Scattered across this field of
stone
In the morning sun
'Neath her veil of black
Her heart was broken she
was all alone
I know she never meant to
hurt me
When she turned and walked
out that door
But today her tears fell as
she dropped the rose
She's just not herself
anymore
He was a fool, the whole
town was saying
As I saw the pity in their
eyes
I just wish they could've
understood
That inside I was just a man
But no matter what they said
about her
Even though she packed and
walked away
Inside I always loved her
She's just not herself
anymore
I know she never meant to
hurt me
She's just not herself
anymore
