No Bucket List for Me

Some folks have a bucket list of what they'd like to do
Or of places they'd like to visit before their time on earth is through
Some make yearly resolutions on each December 31st
And maybe for a week or so they keep them until they completely burst

And so many make promises and like vows they break them too
With all good intentions in mind perhaps at the time they soon become untrue
I feel no need for a bucket list nor any resolutions
The promises that I make like my vows are like a scared constitution

Each day is a new beginning of hopes and dreams to seek
To live life to the fullest each day of every week
