THANK YOU FOR THE FLOWERS

All flowers have a beauty of their own
Itís so hard to choose a winner from Godís bouquet
The simple daisy thrills the children as they make their pretty chains
A joy to watch them at the end of a fun packed day

The hollyhock and foxglove stand tall and most serene
The daffodil and tulip makes you smile
The rose in all her glory protected by her thorns
In such a variety of colours, some say, win it by a mile

But then we have the bluebells that cover woodlands vast
Like a carpet spread throughout the mighty trees
I would hate to pick a winner as God gave them all to us
So I will thank Him aloud for all of them as I fall upon my knees
